Plan Ahead

Certain forms of misbehavior occur in
specific places or on specific occasions.
If you are aware of this, you may help reduce or avoid these behavioral problems.
The following are the steps you can use to do so:
Anticipate the problem:
Try to be aware if certain places evoke bad behavior in your child.
Review the rule:
Let your child know the type of behavior you expect before you enter that
situation.
Review the incentives for good behavior:
Offer your child a small reward for behaving properly in the situation.
Review the consequences of bad behavior:
Let your child know that you expect him to behave and that if he fails to do so
he will have a specific punishment.

The B-Complex Vitamins
When we talk about the B-complex vitamins we are referring to the following:
- Thiamin or B1
- Riboflavin or B2
- Niacin or B3
- Pantothenic acid or B5
- Pyridoxine or B6
- B12
- Folic acid
- Biotin
Although each of these nutrients has unique nutritional and therapeutic properties they share two things in common.
These vitamins are responsible for extracting energy from the food we eat.
They exist together in nature.
Each of the B vitamins functions is similar and complimentary. As a result, if they are not taken together you may risk of
creating a deficiency in one by taking an excess of another. That means that even if you are taking a certain B vitamin in
high doses for therapeutic reasons, you should increase your intake of the entire set of B-complex vitamins to prevent
creating a vitamin deficiency. Therefore, I strongly recommend that you use a B complex vitamin when using B vitamins.
The company I currently recommend for B vitamins is Vitamin Power. This is a New York based company that has been around for
almost thirty years.
They use a third party company to test for purity and potency. Their company representative told me that she has never had a
complaint that the vitamins were not fresh.
Their B complex vitamins are in a natural base and have no sugar, artificial coloring or preservatives. This is important
since many children have allergies to these additives.
The vitamins come in three potencies:
- B complex 150 mg
- B complex 100 mg
- B complex 50 mg.
